Driver Profile

I've been racing for 35 years. Started in street stock, bought my very first car for $300. A 72 chevelle from Ed Stehula. Was in street stock for two years before moving to stockcar. Was in stockcar the majority of my career, with a brief five years in a modified-Winning rookie of the year. The stockcar class is by far, the funnest and most competitive class I’ve run. Always entertaining!!!! My oldest son and I built his first hobby stock car together in the early 2000s. He was very successful and also had the love of the sport. Most recently he’s gotten into the imca stock class as well. Pretty exciting to see him excel and race with/against him. We shared the outstanding opportunity to race on the DIRT AT BRISTOL SPEEDWAY. Truly an experience to have. I’ve been around this sport for a long time, made a lot of awesome people I call family and experienced many great things. This season we plan on doing more traveling then ever, should make for more great memories. Can’t wait to see what the season brings.

Won quite a few races in street stock. National fans for auto racing recipient. Moved to stockcar and wasn't as lucky, but did manage two back to back championships before trying out a modified. Rookie of the year in mods 2000. Was In mods for 5 years, went back to stock cars and here we are.

Car shows, truck/tractor pulls, Building ratrods, riding motorcycle, junkyarding, spending time with my family, taking small vacations on the fly. Just bought an RV so maybe take up camping. Of course, watching races.
